Kite Runner, by Khaled Hosseini relates to my life with the motifs of friendship and salvation/redemption in many ways. First of all, a good friendship is really important to me. It brings out the trust and fun of having a good friend in a great friendship! A strong friendship is kind of like an oreo. It isn't complete unless both sides of the oreo are holding the creme (all the good stuff in a friendship) together. Me and my best friend, Chelsea, are like two peas in a pod. We have known eachother since kindergarten (yea, way back when the days were filled with playtime and naptime). We go everywhere and do everything together. We pretty much know everything there is to know about each other and always talk when something's up. We've had our hard times, but what best friends don't?

It's a song about how whenever Chelsea and I, or any of us, go through hard times, there is always a friend nearby and One who loves unconditionally.:)
Salvation and Redemption is a wonderful chance to turn our lives around. To be saved by the One who died for us, even though we don't deserve it. When I've made a wrong decision, I've always wished that I could go back and do it differently. Unfortunately, we can't do that, but there's one Guy who will forgive us and still love us. Is there a way to be saved and FoGiven, FoSho? Yup. And this Guy is my Savior.
~The video below is The Everything Skit by Lifehouse. It is showing how there are so many wrong things in this world that tempt us to give in. Sometimes, we do, but in the end, Jesus is always there, even when we mess up bigtime. This is true salvation and an example of redemption.
